SNS Network partners with NVIDIA to launch AI Cloud infrastructure in Malaysia

SNS Network, in collaboration with NVIDIA, has introduced a fully managed AI cloud infrastructure service in Malaysia. Hosted at Telekom Malaysia Berhad’s Klang Valley Data Center in Cyberjaya, this new initiative aims to accelerate AI adoption among enterprises by providing high-performance GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS).

The AI cloud infrastructure is powered by 64 NVIDIA Hopper GPUs, distributed across eight Dell PowerEdge XE9680 servers. It also incorporates NVIDIA Quantum-2 InfiniBand networking and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, ensuring optimized performance for AI workloads. SNS Network’s AI Factory will allocate 50% of its capacity for commercial usage, while the remaining 50% will be dedicated to initiatives such as Proof of Concept (POC) testing, industry training, bootcamps, and hackathons.
The service is designed to support various industries, including education, retail, telecommunications, manufacturing, and healthcare. According to SNS Network’s Managing Director, Ko Yun Hung, the locally hosted AI infrastructure ensures data sovereignty and compliance with Malaysia’s data privacy and security regulations. He also emphasized that this initiative aligns with the nation’s goal of fostering AI-driven innovation, talent development, and ethical AI practices.

SNS Network’s GPUaaS is available through flexible subscription plans. Customers can opt for monthly or annual subscriptions, as well as reserved instances for one to three years. Pricing starts at RM35,000 per NVIDIA Hopper GPU per month, with a full Dell XE9680 server (equipped with 8 NVIDIA Hopper GPUs) available at RM240,000 per month.
