Samsung unveils the Galaxy A16 in Malaysia at RM899
Samsung has launched its new addition to the Galaxy A series, the Galaxy A16 5G, featuring a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display—a notable upgrade from the 6.5-inch panel seen in the previous Galaxy A15 model.
Also, this ensures vivid visuals and better viewing for media and browsing. Plus, the phone’s sleek profile measures 7.9mm in thickness, complemented by rounded corners for a comfortable grip.
The Galaxy A16 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor, supporting seamless multitasking and smooth performance. It also includes 8GB of RAM paired with 256GB of internal storage, providing ample space for apps and files.
The device runs on Android 14 and promises reliability with six years of One UI and Android OS updates, along with six years of security patches.
Also, the phone is fitted with a versatile triple camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. Selfies are captured with a 13MP front camera, designed for sharp images.
Plus, the Galaxy A16 5G also comes with 5000mAh battery supporting 25W wired charging.
Color Options and Durability
Available in three color which is Gold, Light Green, and Blue Black. Samsung Galaxy A16 5G is also IP54-rated, offering protection against dust and splashes.
Enhanced security is maintained with Samsung Knox Vault for data protection against advanced threats.
Price and Availability in Malaysia
The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G is priced at RM899 and is available starting November 15, 2024. Buyers can find it at selected stores and through Samsung’s official online platforms.
