Samsung has announced that they’re bringing support for AirDrop to the Galaxy S26 series via Quick Share. This means that you’ll now be able to easily wirelessly share files with Apple device users, something previously only available on Google Pixel smartphones.

According to Samsung, the feature has begun rolling out to Galaxy S26 users already in Korea, with the feature expected to roll out to other regions which include Europe, Hong Kong, Japan, Latin America, North America, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan. The Korean giant added that AirDrop support will be expanded to other Samsung devices too at a later date.

For those who have received the update, you can turn on AirDrop support by first heading over to the Settings app. There, tap on Connected Devices, then click on Quick Share. You’ll then see an option called Share with Apple Devices. Simply turn that on and you’ll now be able to share with iPhones, Macs and iPads that also support AirDrop, on top of being able to receive files from them.
