Samsung releases new M7 and M8 Smart Monitors; Up to RM700 off for early birds

Samsung has added to their monitor lineup with the new M7 and M8 Smart Monitors.

The M7 and M8 Smart Monitors will retail officially at RM2,788 and RM3,588 respectively. However, there is an ongoing early bird promo from the 28th June – 9 July which will see the M7 price reduce to RM2,238 (save RM550), while the M8 will reduce to RM2,888 (save RM700).

You can make your purchases today at the Samsung Online Store (Smart Monitor M8, 32″ Smart Monitor M7), or on Samsung’s official store on Shopee and Lazada.

The new additions are graced with a slimmer minimalistic design, as well as chic herringbone patterns carved into their back panels. They both have a height-adjustable stand with tilt support and a pivot leeway of 90°, ensuring the monitors cater to your viewing preference.

Similarities are maintained in screen sizes, with both sporting a 32″ 4K UHD (3840 x 2160px) displays with 60Hz refresh rates. Colour coverage reaches up to 99% sRGB, making it an ideal choice for content creators and videographers.

There is a slight difference in brightness though, with the M7 reaching up to 300nits and the M8 up to 400nits. The M8 also has the superior HDR10+ support.

Other than that, they both have built-in 5W speakers, as well as built-in voice assistants supporting Bixby, Amazon, and Alexa.

For connectivity, the M7 and M8 has a total of four ports, consisting of 1x HDMI 2.0, 2x USB-A, and 1x USB-C (65W).

Inclusive to your M8 Smart Monitor purchase is the portable SlimFit FHD camera, which is portable and can easily be removed and attached via a magnet in the camera. The M7 unfortunately isn’t bundled with the SlimFit Cam, and will cost you RM459 on the Samsung store.
