Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition unveiled ahead of 2026 Winter Olympics

Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition, designed exclusively for athletes competing at the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. As a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, Samsung will be distributing the device to nearly 3,800 Olympians and Paralympians from 90 countries, supporting them throughout their Olympics journey.
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition isn’t just a commemorative device—it’s purpose-built to enhance the athlete experience, from daily life in the Olympic Village to capturing podium moments and celebrations. In particular, one new feature debuting at the Winter Olympics is the Victory Selfie.
First introduced at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, the feature allows athletes to take selfies directly from the podium using Samsung’s Olympic Edition devices. For Milano Cortina 2026, Samsung is expanding the concept further. Samsung has even tweaked Victory Selfie to now support team sport competitions, enabling entire teams to capture their celebrations from the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition.

Samsung has also tailored other camera features for athletes, with Dual Recording now easily accessible via swiping the shooting mode within the camera, letting athletes capture both the scene and their reaction at the same time.
As for the hardware itself, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition comes in a blue finish inspired by Italian azure and Samsung’s own brand. It’s paired with a gold metal frame symbolising podium success and excellence. Athletes will also receive a clear magnetic case featuring a blue circular magnet and gold laurel leaf detailing. It’ll even come bundled with Milano Cortina 2026-themed wallpapers, inspired by winter sports and skate marks on ice.

Other cool features of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition include the Galaxy Athlete Card, a digital profile system for athletes to connect and interact, a 100GB 5G eSIM for complimentary connectivity, access to their digital passes and services via Samsung Wallet which includes Coca-Cola’s Free Beverage Key, Athlete365 for performance tracking, mental health support and competition updates, the official Olympic Games apps, IOC Hotline and Pinquest, as well as a pre-installed fitness app for tracking workouts in Olympic Village facilities.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition will be distributed exclusively to athletes at Olympic Villages across six cities, starting 30 January 2026. Samsung Open Stations will also be available on-site to help with device setup, data transfers and technical support.

As with previous Olympic Edition devices however, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition won’t be going on sale for the public, so good luck trying to get your hands on one.
