Galaxy S25 FE Tipped for Launch on 19 September; Battery Expected to Be Smaller

The Galaxy S25 FE, the fifth model in the Galaxy S25-related series, could arrive earlier than expected, according to reports from South Korea. Fnnews, a South Korea-based news outlet, reports that the Galaxy S25 Fan Edition (FE) is set to launch on 19 September as a watered-down version of the brand’s flagship Galaxy S25.

Samsung has not officially set a specific launch date.

The Galaxy S25 FE is rumoured to run on Samsung’s proprietary Exynos 2400 chip, supported by at least 8GB of RAM. Display-wise, we can expect a 6.7″ AMOLED display offering Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The camera array remains a triple setup, consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide, and an 8MP telephoto. However, the battery is expected to see a slight downgrade, with the S25 FE likely powered by a 4,500mAh unit compared to the 4,700mAh in last year’s Galaxy S24 FE. As a result, the S25 FE will weigh less – approximately 190g, compared to its predecessor’s 213g.

Given that the Galaxy S24 FE launched in Malaysia last year, there’s a high chance we’ll see the S25 FE make its way here too. The S24 FE launched at a starting price of RM3,299. According to Fnnews, we can expect a slight price increase for the S25 FE.
