Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will launch on 13 May

Samsung has confirmed that the global launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge will take place on 13 May 2025. Viewers can tune in to the live stream on Samsung’s official website, as well as on the brand’s official YouTube channel.
To jog your memory, the Samsung S25 Edge will be the slimmest model in the S25 Series. The phone is expected to have a 5.85mm slim form factor – a significant difference compared to the 7.2mm thickness of the S25 and S25+, and the 8.2mm measurement of the S25 Ultra.

Touted to be the middle model between the S25+ and S25 Ultra, the slimness, it seems, will come at a cost. Rumours suggest that the Edge variant will only pack a 3,900mAh battery, a vast gap from the 4,900mAh capacity on the S25+. Nevertheless, Samsung assures that the 200MP wide lens will still be present on the S25 Edge, but the telephoto will likely be scraped.
Though the price is yet to be confirmed, alleged leaks revealed that the phone’s price in Canadian dollars start at $1,678.99 CAD, which amounts to an estimate ~RM5,214.25. For the official price, we’ll have to wait until the global launch on 13 May.
