Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S25 Edge, marking it as the slimmest entry in the Galaxy S25 lineup. Measuring just 5.8mm in thickness and weighing 163g, the device prioritises a slim and lightweight form factor, paired with a titanium frame for structural durability. It also carries an IP68 rating, making it resistant to dust and water.

The device is equipped with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, which Samsung claims offers improved resistance to scratches and drops. On the performance front, the S25 Edge is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, currently Qualcomm’s top-tier processor.

Samsung has included 12GB of RAM and offers two storage configurations: 256GB and 512GB. For cameras, the phone features a 200MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and 2x optical zoom, along with a 12MP ultra-wide lens. The front camera is a 12MP shooter.

To achieve the slim profile, Samsung has made compromises with the battery. The Galaxy S25 Edge includes a 3,900mAh battery—smaller than typical flagships—and supports 25W wired charging. The company claims this can charge the device up to 55% in 30 minutes. Wireless charging is also supported.

Colour options include Titanium Silver, Titanium Jet Black, and Titanium Icyblue.

At present, there is no official confirmation on the Galaxy S25 Edge’s availability or pricing in Malaysia. The device is currently listed in the United States at USD 1,099 for the 12GB/256GB version and USD 1,299 for the 12GB/512GB version. It remains unclear whether the S25 Edge will launch in Malaysia at all.
