In case you were wondering, the Galaxy A36 from last year started at RM1,499 for 128GB of storage, with the 256GB model going for RM1,699. The Galaxy A56 meanwhile started at RM1,999 for the 128GB base and RM2,199 for the 256GB model. You can however save some money with Samsung’s Launch Rebate promo, which will last till the end of the year. That gets you RM100 off the Galaxy A37, RM150 off the 256GB Galaxy A57 and RM300 off the 512GB Galaxy A57. There’s also a RM100 extra discount for the Galaxy A37 if you pay using Shopee PayLater or Maybank or CIMB cards, with a RM200 discount for the Galaxy A57; this rebate lasts till 29 April.

Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 specs

The Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 look nearly identical, but the main difference in build is that the former has an aluminum frame while the latter has a plastic frame. Both devices come with a 6.7-inch, FHD+ display, with a Super AMOLED panel on the A37 and Super AMOLED+ on the A57. They come with a 120Hz refresh rate too, along with a 1900nits peak brightness and a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus+ for scratch resistance.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A37 gets an Exynos 1480 system-on-chip while the Galaxy A57 has a more powerful Exynos 1680 instead. They come with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB on the A37 and up to 512GB on the A57. You’ll also find Android 16 out of the box skinned with OneUI 8.5 over it, and one very nice feature is its long six years of software support.
