Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 launching on 25 March

Samsung is set to reveal their upcoming Galaxy A midrange smartphones soon. This comes as Samsung India has announced the reveal of the new Galaxy A series will be taking place on 25 March, 5:30pm India time (8pm Malaysia time).
While nothing has been revealed officially yet, we’re almost certain that we’ll be seeing the Galaxy A57 and the Galaxy A37 soon, as they’ve already been leaked in a now-deleted hands-on video showcasing the two midrangers. The two devices get an ever so slightly updated design with a raised camera bump, while the ‘Key Island’ around the power and volume buttons remain.

The video also showed off the Galaxy A57 with a metal frame while the Galaxy A37 gets a plastic frame. Both have a 6.7-inch AMOLED 120Hz displays, with 50MP main cameras and 5,000mAh batteries. The Galaxy A37 is powered by the Exynos 1480 chipset, while the Galaxy A57 gets a new Exynos 1680 instead. Both come with Android 16 out of the box, and should get up to six years of major OS updates.

A second leak, via a listing on Vodafone South Africa, then revealed that the Galaxy A37 is coming in Dark Green, Gray and Light Violet colourways, while the Galaxy A57 is coming in Dark Blue and Gray colour options.
As for when it’ll be available in Malaysia, we’ll have to wait for Samsung Malaysia to formally announce the two on our shores. They will likely be coming with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, though pricing remains a mystery for now.
