Samsung Galaxy A06 5G now available in Malaysia
Less than two weeks after announcing the Galaxy A56 5G, A36 5G, and A26 5G, Samsung has now introduced the Galaxy A06 5G. The phone stands as the most affordable 5G device in the Galaxy lineup.
The Galaxy A06 5G is powered by the Dimensity 6300 CPU with support for 5G connectivity. Helping in performance is 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone includes a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1.5TB.
For visuals, the phone relies on a 6.7″ LCD display offering HD+ (720×1600) resolution and 90Hz refresh rates. The rear cameras consist of a 50MP + 2MP setup, while the front sports an 8MP selfie shooter.
In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy A06 5G supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3.
Keeping the phone running is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging. Other noteworthy features include a 3.5mm headphone jack and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. Additionally, Samsung is offering 4 software updates and 4 years of security patches for the device.
The Samsung Galaxy A06 5G is priced at RM699 in Malaysia and comes in three colours: Light Green, Light Gray, and Black.
Customers can purchase the phone at official Samsung retailers, as well as at telco operators including CelcomDigi, Hotlink, U Mobile, Unifi Mobile, and YES Mobile.
