Samsung begins rolling out AirDrop support to Galaxy S26 series users in Malaysia

Shortly after announcing the global rollout of AirDrop support to the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung Malaysia has confirmed that the rollout will be happening in Malaysia from 25 March onwards.
To recap, AirDrop support via QuickShare means that you’ll now be able to easily wirelessly share files with Apple device users. This feature was previously only available for Pixel devices on the Android side of things, but now the recently launched Galaxy S26 lineup will be able to too, as well as other Samsung devices at a later date.

Once you’ve updated your Galaxy S26 device, you can turn on AirDrop support by first heading over to the Settings app. There, tap on Connected Devices, then click on Quick Share. You’ll then see an option called Share with Apple Devices. Simply turn that on and you’ll now be able to share with iPhones, Macs and iPads that also support AirDrop, on top of being able to receive files from them.
