Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi 15C in Malaysia, targeting budget-conscious users looking for a large display, solid battery life, and decent performance. The phone runs on a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra octa-core processor, and comes in two memory options: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.

It features a 6.9-inch HD+ display (1600×720 resolution) with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 800 nits in High Brightness Mode. The screen also comes with TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free viewing, and circadian-friendly use — all geared towards more comfortable long-term usage.

Physically, the device is built with a slim 7.9mm profile and weighs 205g. It carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. On the back, there’s a dual camera setup with a 50MP main shooter and a 2MP depth sensor, while the front houses an 8MP selfie camera.

Powering the phone is a large 6,000mAh battery, supported by 33W fast wired charging. Other practical features include AI face unlock, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Colour options available in Malaysia include Midnight Black, Mint Green, Moonlight Blue, and Twilight Orange.

The Redmi 15C is available nationwide starting 9 September 2025. It is priced at RM429 for the 6GB/128GB model and RM529 for the 8GB/256GB model. Malaysians can purchase the phone at authorized Xiaomi stores across the country, or online via mi.com, as well as Xiaomi’s official stores on Shopee and Lazada.
