The Redmi 12 comes in two memory variants: a 4GB+128GB option priced at RM599, and a 8GB+256GB option priced at RM699.

Redmi proves entry-level can feel premium too
The Redmi 12 is by all means an entry-level powerhouse, boasting up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Storage is expandable to up to 1TB, so running out of space is out of question.
Even at its price range, it does not rob users from stylish aesthetics, thanks in part to its luxurious glass back finishing and infinite camera design.
Measuring at a sleek 8.17mm thinness, the Redmi 12 offers improved hand feel when it is nestled in your palms. Despite being 10% thinner than its predecessors, it is still a pretty solid device with an IP53 dust and splash resistance. This means you’re essentially safe from the occasional splashes, and dust won’t deter the phone’s system either.
Better displays, with better eye protection
Redmi has brought significant improvement to the display, with the Redmi 12 now sporting Full HD+ (2460 x 1080px) resolution across its 6.79″ DotDisplay. Its FHD+ display is the largest in the Redmi number series, and users will now be able to appreciate more immersive content on a top-class display.
Aside from that, it also supports 90Hz Adaptive Sync refresh rates, giving you the best of battery performance and buttery smooth experience.
With all the content you’re about to finally see in Full HD+, you’re going to need visual protection. Luckily, the Redmi 12 is SGS-certified for Low Blue Light, which means your eyes won’t be too strained even when you’re on your device for prolonged hours.

Beyond that, the Redmi 12 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, which gives about 16 hours of continuous video watching. It supports 18W Type-C fast charging, and comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a loudspeaker, and a built-in IR blaster.
For colour options, the Redmi 12 is available in Midnight Black, Sky Blue, and Polar Silver.
