REDMAGIC Astra Gaming Tablet Lands in Malaysia With Up to RM400 First Sale Promo

REDMAGIC has officially launched its first gaming tablet, the REDMAGIC Astra, designed with a flat transparent metal body, rounded corners, and dynamic RGB lighting. The device features a clean back with no camera bump.
Under the hood, the Astra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, supported by up to 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage. It also integrates the RedCore R3 Pro chip, a dedicated co-processor responsible for display rendering, battery management, and thermal control.

The display is a 9.06-inch OLED panel with a 2400×1504 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 1,600 nits. Audio is delivered through stereo dual speakers with DTS:X Ultra certification.
To sustain extended gaming sessions, the device includes an 8,200mAh battery. REDMAGIC claims it can last 6.67 hours on Call of Duty Mobile, 5.56 hours on Genshin Impact, and 4.55 hours on PUBG. The battery fully charges in about 64 minutes.

Cooling is handled by a 13-layer ICE-X thermal system, which includes Liquid Metal 2.0, dual vapor chambers, and a high-speed turbofan that spins at 20,000RPM.
The Astra supports OTG and video output, allowing it to connect to 4K monitors, game controllers, keyboards, and docking stations. It is also compatible with REDMAGIC accessories such as the Astra Stylus, magnetic folio case, and the REDMAGIC Cyber Gamepad, which features Hall effect joysticks, trigger buttons, and microswitch buttons.

The REDMAGIC Astra will be available in Malaysia in three variants: 12GB+256GB for RM3,399, 16GB+512GB for RM4,199, and 24GB+1TB for RM5,199.
