REDMAGIC 8S Pro’s first sales promo sees RM550 price slash across all three models

The REDMAGIC 8S Pro, unveiled last week on August 3rd and scheduled for launch on August 14th, will be having a first sales promo after all.

In last week’s unveiling, REDMAGIC had announced the official pricing of the 8S Pro without details of an early bird promo. Though there was an announcement of a pre-sale campaign – in which REDMAGIC would be giving away RM100 vouchers to fans everyday from 5th August – 14th August – there was no mention of a launch promo.

However, a recent announcement has revealed an upcoming early bird special which will see a RM550 price slash across all models of the REDMAGIC 8S Pro.

After factoring in the promo, here are the new prices:

• Midnight REDMAGIC 8S Pro (12+256GB); RM3,149 (RM3,699)
• Platinum REDMAGIC 8S Pro (16GB+512GB); RM3,949 (RM4,499)
• Aurora REDMAGIC 8S Pro (16GB+512GB); RM3,949 (RM4,499)

The first sales promo will be available exclusively on the REDMAGIC official store on Shopee.

As a recap, the REDMAGIC 8S Pro will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU. This, alongside a dedicated gaming chip – the Red Core 2 – for enhanced gaming experience. It sports a 6.8″ AMOLED display, with 120Hz refresh rates and 1,300nits peak brightness.

REDMAGIC claims you’ll have a 9 hour of heavy gaming thanks to its 6,000mAh battery; supporting 65W fast charging.

Among the upgrades REDMAGIC has made is the ICE 12.0 cooling system, which now features a super large vapor chamber and a new duct structure to help in heat dissipation.
