REDMAGIC 8S Pro unveiled in Malaysia; Price starts RM3,699
Gaming brand REDMAGIC has unveiled their latest gaming phone in Malaysia – The REDMAGIC 8S Pro.
It will be available for purchase from the 14th of August onwards, with a starting price of RM3,699 for the 12GB+256GB in Midnight design. You will also have the choice of the 16GB+512GB variant in Platinum or Aurora for RM4,499.

REDMAGIC 8S Pro Specs
The REDMAGIC 8S Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
It comes in three designs: Midnight, which will be available only for the 12GB+256GB variant, while the other two designs – Platinum and Aurora – is reserved for the 16GB+512GB models.
All models feature built-in RGB lights to heighten your gaming experience.
Alongside the Snapdragon CPU, is also REDMAGIC’s dedicated gaming chip – the Red Core 2, which enables special gaming features, such as the 520Hz dual wing triggers conveniently located along the side panels for when you have the phone turned horizontally while gaming.
The REDMAGIC 8S Pro also features an upgraded ICE 12.0 cooling system, which along with a larger vapor chamber cooling plate, also features a new duct structure for efficient heat dissipation.
As for displays, the device sports a 6.8″ AMOLED screen, with 120Hz refresh rates and 960Hz touch sampling rate. Peak brightness reaches as high as 1,300nits.
According to REDMAGIC, you’ll have a whopping 9 hours of heavy gaming on the 8S Pro. This is thanks to its massive dual-cell batteries amounting to 6,000mAh. Additionally, you’ll also get 65W fast charging.
For ports, the 8S Pro sports 1x USB 3.1 Type-C port, a Display port, a Dual nano-SIM slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It supports Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.3.
Elsewhere, the REDMAGIC 8S Pro keeps to a triple camera system at the rear, consisting of a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP setup. On the flipside, is a 16MP front camera.
