Realme Note 80: 6.74″ 90Hz display, 6300mAh battery and IP54 rating, priced at RM399

Realme has announced their latest smartphone in Malaysia, the Realme Note 80. This entry level smartphone is priced at just RM399 and is already available across Realme’s official brand stores, authorised retailers and their stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop.

The Realme Note 80 is just 7.94mm thin and 197g light, with a tactile matte finish on the back. Available in Glacier Blue and Storm Black, the Note 80 houses a 6.74-inch LCD display, pushing a 1600 x 720p HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, on top of 83% coverage of the NTSC colour gamut and 563nits of peak brightness in high brightness mode. You’ll also get a layer of Panda MN228 glass over it for scratch resistance, along with MIL-STD 810H shock resistance and an IP54 dust and water resistance rating.

Under the hood, the Realme Note 80 is powered by a Unisoc T7250 system-on-chip, an entry-level 12nm processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, as well as Android 15 out of the box. Keeping the lights on is a 6,300mAh battery with 15W fast charging; Realme claims that you’ll get up to 740 hours of standby, 15 hours of YouTube streaming and 7 hours of gaming on a single charge.

As for cameras, the Realme Note 80 comes with an 8MP, f/2.0 main camera on the back with a 5MP, f/2.2 front camera for your selfies. Other features of note include a fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack and support for WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless connectivity.
