realme Malaysia launches the realme Book with prices starting from RM2,499.
The long awaited realme Book is finally here with its first sales happening on 27th August. The realme Book is the first laptop that comes in two options: the Book i3 and Book i5.
As its name suggest, the Book i3 is powered by an 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i3-1115G4 Processor while the Book i5 is powered by an 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-1135G7 Processor. Aside from the different processors, both models also vary slightly in other areas which we’ll be covering in the full specifications section later.
The design of the realme Book is sleek and stunning. Its aluminum chassis gives it a sturdy and durable overall feel while keeping it lightweight (~1.38kg – 1.48kg). But the thing that caught our attention most was realme’s decision to feature a 3:2 aspect ration display; Making the realme Book more suitable as a productivity device than a gaming one.

While the realme Book does not offer any ground breaking specifications or features, it does come complete with all the fundamental features to make it a great day-to-day work laptop worth noting.

The Book i3 and Book i5’s first sales will be happening on 27th August 2021. There will be an RM500 discount on the Book i3 during the first sales while the Book i5 will sell at its retail selling price of RM3,499.
Both models will come with a 2-year warranty, a 15″ laptop bag and a Bluetooth mouse (while stocks last).

Final Thoughts
We really like realme’s approach of introducing a 3:2 aspect ratio display to cater more for productivity users. The overall specifications also caters very well to its intended audience with a focus on portability, decent display and audio. If anyone is looking for a budget productivity laptop, this is definitely one worth considering!
