realme Unveils GT 7 Series in Malaysia, Including Special Dream Edition with Aston Martin
realme has launched the GT 7 Series in Malaysia, marking the debut of the realme GT 7 as the first smartphone in the country powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e processor. The device also introduces AI Planner, a software feature designed to help users organise their daily activities.
The realme GT 7 is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, delivering a 1.5K resolution (2780 x 1264), 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. On the rear, the phone carries a triple camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50MP 2x telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera is 32MP.
A notable specification is its 7,000mAh battery, which supports 120W wired charging. The phone is also rated IP69 for dust and water resistance. realme has committed to providing four major Android OS updates for the GT 7. It is available in two colour options: IceSense Blue and IceSense Black.
Meanwhile, the GT 7T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-MAX processor and also features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution (2800 x 1280), 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,800 nits peak brightness. It comes with a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX896 sensor with OIS and an 8MP wide-angle lens. The front camera is 32MP.
This model also includes a 7,000mAh battery with 120W wired charging. It is available in IceSense Blue, IceSense Black, and Racing Yellow.
The realme GT 7 is priced at RM2,599 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. The realme GT 7T is available at RM1,999 for the same configuration.
realme GT 7 Dream Edition
In collaboration with the Aston Martin Formula One Team, realme has released the GT 7 Dream Edition. This version comes in Aston Martin Racing Green with an engraved silver wings emblem and a design said to reflect aerodynamic flow lines. It also includes an exclusive collector’s box and a matching Silver Wing phone case. The device comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, and is priced at RM2,999.
All models are available for pre-order until 30 May 2025 through realme Brand Stores, authorised dealers, and realme’s official online stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. From 31 May to 30 June 2025, customers will receive gifts worth up to RM997 with their purchase. These include a selfie stick, a one-year extended warranty, and a one-year screen crack warranty.
