Realme C85 now free with U Mobile Postpaid 68 24-month contract plan

You now have more ways of getting your hands on the Realme C85, the brand’s latest midrange smartphone. While not officially in stores just yet, the Realme C85 was previously made available through the Hotlink Postpaid 70 plan. They’ve now also announced a partnership with U Mobile so that those on the orange telco can get the Realme C85 too.
To get the Realme C85 from U Mobile, you’ll first have to sign up for their U Postpaid 68 contract on a 24-month contract. You’ll then be able to snag the Realme C85 for no extra charge. The U Postpaid 68 plan itself comes with 100GB of combined 5G and 4G data, unlimited calls and SMS to all networks, free caller ID and zero upfront cost for the device.

As a quick recap, the Hotlink alternative will require you to sign up for the Hotlink Postpaid 70 plan. You can then add on the C85 for RM59/month on a 24-month contract or for RM359/month on a 12-month contract. That’ll also net you 150GB (5G/4G) + 150GB (5G) of data per month, unlimited hotspot and SMS as well as free roaming in Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.

As for the Realme C85 itself, it sports a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 system-on-chip, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The display is a large 6.8-inch LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, though hampered by its HD+ resolution.
A massive 7,000mAh battery keeps the lights on, for photos you get a 50MP main camera on the back with an 8MP selfie shooter up front.It’s highlight feature though is perhaps is its IP69 Pro dust and water resistance rating.
At time of writing, the Realme C85 is only available through their partner telcos, having not been officially launched just yet. That being said, Realme says that the nationwide open market launch is just around the corner, so stay tuned to us here at PriceShop Malaysia for more details.
