Realme C85 finally officially launches, 7,000mAh battery and IP69 Pro rating, from RM749
After going on sale with not one but two telco partners, the Realme C85 is finally officially being launched. And Realme is launching not one but two Realme C85 models too, with your choice between a 5G or a 4G-only model.
Realme C85 series Malaysia pricing and availability
The Realme C85 5G with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will come with a recommended retail price of RM1,099. However, Realme is giving customers an instant RM300 rebate if you get it at Realme Brand Stores or from their authorised dealers. This means you can get the Realme C85 5G for effectively RM799.
As for the Realme C85 4G, it’s priced at RM749 for its single model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. You’ll also be able to find it on sale at all Realme Brand Stores or from their authorised dealers. Anyone who gets the Realme C85 5G or C85 4G will also get exclusive gifts which include a 1-year extended warranty and liquid damage replacement for up to 36 different liquid types.
Realme C85 specs and features
At first glance, the Realme C85 5G and C85 4G look identical, and they do indeed share most of their specs. Both share a 6.8-inch LCD display that pushes a HD+ 720p resolution with a maximum 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1200 nits in high brightness mode. The two also have a 7,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging.
The key difference here is the mobile platform powering them. The Realme C85 5G comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 system-on-chip, while the C85 4G uses a Snapdragon 685 instead. They both come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with Realme UI 6.0 skinned over Android 15 out of the box.
While they both come with a main 50MP shooter and an 8MP front camera, the Realme C85 5G does boast using the Sony IMX852 image sensor for its rear camera. On top of that, the C85 5G has WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity, while the C85 4G is limited to Bluetooth 5.0 for the latter.
One last feature of note for both Realme C85 models is their IP69 Pro dust and water resistance. Realme says that this comprehensive certification integrates IP69K for high-pressure, high-temperature resistance, IP69 for jet streams, IP68 for submersion, and IP66 for rain and splashes. Both models have also passed MIL-STD-810H military grade testing for durability.
