Gucci-inspired realme 11 Pro Series launches in Malaysia; price starts RM1,499

The world of designer fashion and tech collides with the launch of the realme 11 Pro series in Malaysia. The series consist of the headliner realme 11 Pro+, and its co-star realme 11 Pro.

Malaysians can purchase the realme 11 Pro series from the 21st of July onwards. As for official pricing, the realme 11 Pro+ (12GB+512GB) is priced at RM1,999, while the realme 11 Pro (8GB+256GB) is priced at RM1,499.

The realme Pro Series 5G will be available for purchase on realme’s official store on Shopee and Lazada, as well as on their official TikTok store.

realme’s latest series will feature a Gucci-inspired premium vegan leather texture on its back panels. The design, as well as the Sunrise Beige colour scheme, is the work of former Gucci prints designer, Matteo Menotto.

The new luxe design will feature on both models in the series.

The realme 11 Pro+ and realme 11 Pro will sport a 6.7″ curved AMOLED display supporting 120Hz refresh rates and 950nits peak brightness.

The overlap continues in CPU, where each will utilize the Dimensity 7050 5G processor; and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. However, the realme 11 Pro+ will have the faster 100W SUPERVOOC charging, as compared to the 67W on the realme 11 Pro.

For memory, you’ll have up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage on the 11 Pro+, while the 11 Pro will have up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. You will have Dynamic RAM expansion on both models (+12GB on 11 Pro+, +8GB on 11 Pro)

What sets the two models apart mostly lies in the camera. The realme 11 Pro+ will have a tri-camera system consisting of a 200MP OIS main camera backed by a 1/1.4″ sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 4cm 2MP macro lens.

The realme 11 Pro on the other hand will only have a dual camera system with a downscaled 100MP OIS main camera and a 2MP depth camera.

There is also a difference in front cameras, with the 11 Pro+ variant having the superior 32MP camera, versus the 16MP of the 11 Pro.

Both models will have dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

For colour choices, you have the choice between Sunrise Beige and Oasis Green on either models; with the addition of a non-leathered Astral Black for the realme 11 Pro.
