realme 11 5G launches in Malaysia with RM1,199 price tag

realme has added to its 11 series with the launch of the realme 11 5G.

To jog your memory, realme released the first two installments to the 11 series with the 11 Pro + and the 11 Pro. Both the Pro variants featured Gucci-inspired vegan leather, and a RM1,499 starting price.

Now the third addition – the realme 11 5G – has been introduced.

The realme 11 5G (8GB+256GB) is priced at RM1,199, and is available online starting the 30th of August. You can make your purchase on realme’s official Shopee and Lazada store, as well as on their TikTok page.

If you do purchase from any of realme’s online channels, you will be entitled to free gifts, which includes a pair of realme Buds T100, a Power Bank, 1 year Accidental Damage Warranty, and a 1 year extended warranty.

Unlike it’s bigger Pro cousins the realme 11 5G does not have a leather back panel. Instead, it sports what realme calls a Glory Halo, which is essentially a rounded camera module with thick rims, almost like the bezels of a watch.

In it lies the 108MP main camera with a Samsung HM6 sensor. The main camera also comes with 3x In-sensor zoom, offering users more room to crop without losing quality.

Alongside the main camera is a 2MP portrait camera, while at the front in punch-hole format is a 16MP selfie camera.

The realme 11 5G utilizes a Dimensity 6100+ 5G chipset. It comes with 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It does have the option of 8GB Dynamic RAM, and storage is expandable up to 2TB.

You’ll have 5,000mAh battery, supported with 67W SUPERVOOC charging.

There isn’t much difference in terms of display sizes between this model and the Pro variants. The realme 11 5G display is 6.72″, with Full HD+ display and 6 levels of dynamic refresh rate, with the highest being 120Hz.

In keeping with the eye-catching realme theme of late, the realme 11 5G back panel is peppered with starlight texture and an S-shaped light effect that shifts depending on the angle you’re looking at.

Elsewhere, it has a side-fingerprint sensor, WiFi 5 support, and Bluetooth 5.2. You have the choice of either Glory Gold, or Glory Black.
