Razer BlackShark V3 Pro Debuts with Gen-2 HyperSpeed Wireless and THX Spatial Audio
Razer has officially introduced the BlackShark V3 Pro headset series, now available in platform-specific versions for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. The latest iteration of the BlackShark line brings several upgrades, including advanced wireless technology, improved audio performance, and greater connection flexibility.
First in the Series with Hybrid ANC and Gen-2 Wireless
At the top of the new lineup is the BlackShark V3 Pro, which debuts Razer’s second-generation HyperSpeed Wireless technology. This wireless solution offers latency as low as 10 milliseconds, targeting competitive gamers who prioritise responsiveness. Another first for the BlackShark series is the inclusion of hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC), made possible through a 4-microphone setup.
The headset features Razer’s updated 50mm TriForce drivers for a more natural sound profile and better frequency separation. On PC, users will also get access to a 7.1.4-channel version of THX Spatial Audio—making this the first Razer headset to offer overhead audio cues via four virtual overhead speakers, enhancing the sense of in-game directionality.
For communication, the BlackShark V3 Pro includes a detachable 12mm microphone, designed with input from pro esports players including Nikola “NiKo” Kovač and Anthony “Shotzzy” Cuevas-Castro. The headset also includes memory foam ear cushions for comfort during extended gaming sessions.
Multi-Platform Support and Versatile Connectivity
The BlackShark V3 Pro supports four connection modes: 2.4GHz HyperSpeed Wireless, Bluetooth, USB-A, and 3.5mm. It also allows for simultaneous wireless and Bluetooth connections—useful for toggling between game audio and phone calls without needing to disconnect.
Alongside the Pro model, Razer also launched the BlackShark V3 and the BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed. The BlackShark V3 comes with the same Gen-2 TriForce Titanium 50mm drivers and THX Spatial Audio, but replaces the Pro’s ANC and detachable mic with a HyperClear Superwideband Mic. It also supports dual wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, and is available for all three platforms.
The BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed serves as the entry-level option, with the Gen-2 TriForce 50mm drivers, a HyperClear Cardioid mic, and standard 7.1 Surround Sound (instead of THX Spatial Audio). Like the others, it includes wireless and Bluetooth support.

The PC and Xbox versions of all models are available now via Razer.com, official Razer retail stores, and will arrive at local retailers soon. The PlayStation-compatible models will be made available through the same channels in the near future.
