Public Bank to Retire PB engage MY App Starting 15 August, Fully Switching to MyPB App

Public Bank has announced that its PB engage MY app will no longer be accessible starting 15 August. Instead, the bank advises customers to migrate to the newer MyPB App to continue utilizing its mobile banking services.
The MyPB App is already available for download on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Huawei AppGallery.
Public Bank assures customers that they can log in to the MyPB App using their existing PBe login credentials and for PB SecureSign registration. Once users enter their credentials, they will need to approve the PB SecureSign Push Notification on the PB engage MY app to complete the migration of PB SecureSign to the MyPB App.

Following that, users will need to activate PB SecureSign at any Public Bank ATM or branch. Do note that a 12-hour cooling-off period will apply upon completion of PB SecureSign activation.
If users have the SecureSign hard token, they can activate PB SecureSign without needing to visit an ATM or Public Bank branch.
The move to make the PB engage MY app inaccessible by August signals Public Bank’s intention to phase out its outdated app completely. According to the bank, the newer MyPB App offers users a refreshed user interface, enhanced security, and lifestyle services that extend beyond banking.
