Predator Debuts Hera Gold Edition 192GB DDR5 Kit and Ultra-Fast PCIe Gen5 SSDs
Predator has announced three new high-performance products aimed at users with demanding computing needs. The lineup includes the Hera Gold Edition 192GB DDR5 memory kit, as well as the GM9000 and GM9 PCIe Gen5x4 solid-state drives. These additions are designed for scenarios such as high-end gaming, professional content creation, AI model training, and large-scale data processing, with each product offering a different approach to speed and efficiency.
The Predator Hera Gold Edition 192GB DDR5 kit comprises four 48GB DIMMs, delivering a total of 192GB of memory. Operating at DDR5-6000 MT/s with CL28 timings, the kit is built for low-latency performance in both consumer and professional applications. It supports motherboards based on the X870/X870E and B850 chipsets, making it suitable for users upgrading to the latest platforms.
For storage, the Predator GM9000 PCIe Gen5x4 SSD delivers sequential read speeds of up to 14,000 MB/s and write speeds of up to 13,000 MB/s. Powered by a 6nm controller with support for eight NAND channels, it also integrates a DRAM cache and dynamic SLC caching. These features help sustain performance during heavy workloads such as real-time media editing and rapid file transfers.
The Predator GM9 PCIe Gen5 SSD offers slightly higher read speeds of up to 14,500 MB/s, with write speeds reaching 11,000 MB/s. It uses Host Memory Buffer (HMB) technology in place of onboard DRAM to improve power efficiency while maintaining speed, and incorporates a copper-graphene composite heatsink to assist in heat management during sustained use.
