Poco X8 Pro specs

The Poco X8 Pro features a smaller body than previous Poco X series devices, featuring a 6.59-inch AMOLED display pushing a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, full coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and up to 3,500nits of peak brightness. You’ll also find a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 7i over it for scratch resistance, while the metal chassis provides IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K dust and water resistance ratings.

Under the hood, the Poco X8 Pro comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra, a 4nm system-on-chip that offers performance similar to the likes of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. That gets mated to 8GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. All of that is kept cool by their LiquidCool Technology with Poco 3D Dual-layer IceLoop cooling system. You’ll find Android 16 out of the box, skinned with Xiaomi HyperOS 3 over it, and should get at least four major OS upgrades and six years of security patches.

In the camera department, the Poco X8 Pro boasts a main 50MP, f/1.5 main camera using a Sony IMX882 1/1.95″ sensor, flanked by an 8MP, f/2.2 ultrawide, while up front is a 20MP selfie shooter. Keeping the lights on meanwhile is a 6,500mAh battery with support for 100W HyperCharge fast charging and 27W reverse charging. Other features of note include stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor and support for WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 6.0 wireless connectivity.
