POCO unveils F7 Series with first-ever Ultra variant boasting Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU
POCO has officially launched its latest F7 Series in Malaysia, featuring the F7 Pro and the brand’s first-ever Ultra model, the F7 Ultra.
POCO F7 Ultra specs
The POCO F7 Ultra marks the brand’s debut in the “Ultra” category, and it comes equipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
This is also the first POCO phone to feature its own dedicated graphics chip, the VisionBoost D7, designed to support features like Smart Frame Rate up to 120FPS, 2K Super Resolution, and Game HDR. These enhancements are aimed particularly at users who play graphically demanding titles such as Genshin Impact.
Thermal management is supported by LiquidCool Technology 4.0, featuring a 5400mm² loop heat pipe for heat dissipation. The device also comes with IP68 dust and water resistance and is built with a curved rear panel body that combines a gloss-matte finish—glossy on the top half and matte on the bottom.
Camera-wise, the F7 Ultra features a 50MP main sensor powered by Light Fusion 800, supported by a floating telephoto lens offering 2.5x optical zoom and up to 5x in-sensor zoom. There’s also a 32MP ultra-wide camera.
The F7 Ultra is available in two configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage. Colour options include Yellow and Black.
POCO F7 specs
The POCO F7 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and uses the same LiquidCool Technology 4.0 with a 5400mm² heat pipe found in the Ultra model. It supports Smart Frame Rate technology for smoother gaming experiences, including 90FPS gameplay for Genshin Impact.
The F7 Pro includes a 6,000mAh battery paired with 90W wired charging. On the back, there’s a 50MP main camera using the Light Fusion 800 sensor, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The design mirrors the Ultra’s gloss-matte finish and adds IP68 water and dust resistance, as well as Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
Available in Black, Silver, and Blue, the F7 Pro comes in two configurations: 12GB RAM with either 256GB or 512GB of storage.
POCO F7 Series price in Malaysia
Both the POCO F7 Pro and F7 Ultra are now available on POCO’s official stores on Shopee and Lazada, as well as on mi.com.
The POCO F7 Ultra is priced at RM2,999 for the 12GB+256GB model and RM3,299 for the 16GB+512GB variant. As part of the open sales promotion, buyers can purchase the models for RM2,699 and RM2,899 respectively, each bundled with a complimentary Xiaomi 50W wireless charging stand worth RM229.
The POCO F7 Pro is priced at RM2,299 for the 12GB+256GB version and RM2,499 for the 12GB+512GB variant. During the open sales period, the promotional prices are RM2,039 and RM2,139 respectively.
