POCO F8 Series Lands in Malaysia: Top-Tier Performance Enhanced by Bose Audio
POCO has officially pushed into the premium flagship space with the debut of the POCO F8 Ultra and POCO F8 Pro, unveiled globally in Bali and now launched in Malaysia. It is the brand’s most ambitious leap yet, pairing cutting-edge performance with refined design, pro-grade cameras and, for the first time ever, audio co-engineered with Bose. Alongside the smartphones, POCO also introduced two new tablets — the POCO Pad X1 and POCO Pad M1 — expanding its growing ecosystem for young and connected users.
POCO F8 Ultra: The New Face of POCO’s Premium Era
Leading the series is the POCO F8 Ultra, built around the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and paired with the new VisionBoost D8 co-processor. Together, these deliver an impressive AnTuTu score of over 3.94 million, reinforcing POCO’s commitment to top-tier performance. The device also features improved game optimisation through WildBoost and sustained stability supported by a redesigned IceLoop cooling system, allowing long sessions at high frame rates without performance dips.
Audio is a major highlight this year. POCO’s partnership with Bose brings a custom triple-speaker setup that uses a 2.1-channel architecture, something never before seen in a smartphone. Users get richer bass, clearer vocals and an unexpectedly expansive soundstage.
On the camera side, the device carries a 50MP Light Fusion 950 sensor with OIS and a larger 1/1.31-inch footprint for improved low-light performance. It is joined by POCO’s first 50MP periscope telephoto lens capable of 5x optical zoom and up to 20x Ultra Zoom, making distance shots and portraits more detailed.
A 6500mAh battery, also the biggest in the F series keeps the phone running comfortably throughout the day, supported by 100W HyperCharge and 50W wireless charging. The design itself is equally premium, with an aluminium frame and two finishes: Denim Blue with nano-tech material and Black with a matte-glass aesthetic.
POCO F8 Pro: Accessible Yet Fully Flagship
For users who want top-tier performance without jumping into full flagship pricing, the POCO F8 Pro offers a more accessible alternative. It runs on the same Snapdragon 8 Elite platform and HyperRGB display as the Ultra, while also receiving enhanced Bose-powered acoustics and Xiaomi HyperOS 3 for better device connectivity and AI-driven features.
The design sets it apart from past POCO models. The F8 Pro features POCO’s first one-piece milled glass back, sculpted from a single glass block with frosted-and-glossy textures seamlessly blended together. Powering everything is a 6210mAh battery with 100W fast charging that reaches full capacity in just over half an hour.
The F8 Pro introduces a 50MP telephoto camera with 2.5x optical and 5x lossless zoom, perfect for natural-looking portraits. Its 50MP Light Fusion 800 main sensor handles bright daytime shots and neon-lit night scenes with better stability thanks to OIS.
POCO Pad X1 and Pad M1: More Options for Work and Play
To round off its ecosystem, POCO also brought in two new tablets. The POCO Pad X1 is built for smooth performance and productivity, powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 with 8GB RAM and paired with an 11.2-inch 3.2K display that refreshes up to 144Hz. It includes quad speakers with Dolby Atmos and boosted volume for a more immersive multimedia experience, alongside HyperOS features that improve cross-device workflows.
For entertainment lovers, the larger POCO Pad M1 offers a 12.1-inch 2.5K display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, a massive 12,000mAh battery and loud, room-filling quad speakers. It runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and supports the same AI-driven tools within HyperOS.

The POCO F8 Series is now available in Malaysia via mi.com and POCO’s official stores on Shopee and Lazada, with early bird promotions running until 18 December 2025.
