POCO C71 arrives in Malaysia with RM299 starting price

By PriceShop News April 25, 2025

POCO has officially introduced the POCO C71 in Malaysia, a new entry-level smartphone that closely resembles the recently released Redmi A5 in terms of hardware. Designed for everyday users, the POCO C71 is powered by the UNISOC T7250 processor, aiming to deliver sufficient performance for basic tasks.

The device features a 6.88-inch display with a resolution of 1640×720. Although it maintains a budget-friendly price tag, the screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and has received TUV Rheinland certification for Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free viewing, and Circadian Friendly standards. This makes it more comfortable for prolonged screen use, particularly in low-light conditions.

For photography, the POCO C71 is equipped with a 32MP main rear camera, and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

The device houses a 5,200mAh battery, which POCO claims can support up to 20 hours of continuous video playback or over 9 hours of mobile gaming. Charging is supported via 15W wired charging.

The POCO C71 comes in three colour options: Black, Gold, and Blue. Two memory configurations are available: 3GB RAM with 64GB storage, and 4GB RAM with 128GB storage.

POCO C71 price in Malaysia

The POCO C71 is now available in Malaysia at RM299 for the 3GB+64GB version and RM399 for the 4GB+128GB model.

As part of an early bird promotion running until 9 May 2025, both variants are available at a discounted price—RM269 and RM319, respectively. The device can be purchased at mi.com, or via POCO’s official Lazada and Shopee stores.
