Oppo Find N6: ‘Creaseless’ foldable with Hasselblad cameras, priced at RM8,699

Oppo has announced their latest flagship foldable smartphone in Malaysia, the Oppo Find N6. Building off their previous foldables, Oppo claims that the Find N6 continues to have one of the ‘flattest’ displays among foldables out there, with a ‘zero-feel’ crease on the main screen.
According to the Chinese manufacturer, they achieved this with the introduction of a 2nd gen Titanium Flexion Hinge, built out of 3D Liquid Printing tech, to minimise hinge height variance from 0.2mm to just 0.05mm. On top of that, the Find N6 uses Auto-Smoothing Flex Glass for a near 100% improvement in shape recovery and a 339% increase in deformation resistance to smoothen out any potential deformations on the screen. Oppo claims that the Find N6 will be able to sustain over 600,000 folds and still remain crease-free.

As for the displays themselves, the main display is an 8.12-inch OLED panel pushing a QXGA+ 2480 × 2248 resolution with a PET & UTG layer over it, while the cover display is a 6.62-inch OLED with a 2616 x 1140 resolution. Both screens feature a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate with full coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and a peak brightness of 1800nits.

Under the hood, the Find N6 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 system-on-chip, mated to 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It runs Android 16 out of the box, skinned with ColorOS over it, and you can expect at least 5 major Android OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates.

In the camera department meanwhile you’ll find a main 200MP, f/1.8 shooter flanked by a 50MP, f/2.7 periscope telephoto offering 3x optical zoom as well as a 50MP, f/2.0 ultrawide. As usual for an Oppo flagship, there’s Hasselblad branding here which means you get Hasselblad colour calibration and tuning for more photographic styles. Rounding things off are 20MP, f/2.4 selfie shooters in each display.

Other features of note include a 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired SuperVOOC fast charging and 50W wireless AirVOOC charging, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP58/IP59 dust and water resistance rating as well as WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 wireless connectivity.
The Oppo Find N6 comes in just a single configuration with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, priced at RM8,699, and will be available for purchase in Malaysia from 20 March onwards.
