OPPO Find N5 foldable flagship now available for pre-orders; Priced at RM7,999
OPPO’s has finally unwrapped its foldable contender of the year. The OPPO Find N5 is among the slimmest book-style foldables in the market, measuring only 8.93mm even when folded. When it’s unfolded, the slimness reduces down to only 4.21mm.
More than that, OPPO says the device weighs only 229g.
The OPPO Find N5 sports a 6.62″ OLED LTPO cover screen that offers FHD+ (2616×1140) resolution, 120Hz refresh rates, and 2,450nits peak brightness. For protection, the screen is layered with Microcrystalline Glass that provides 20% greater puncture resistance than the previous generation.
In its unfolded form, the Find N5 reveals an 8.12″ OLED LTPO display with higher QXGA+ (2480×2248) resolution. While refresh rates remain at 120Hz, the inner display’s peak brightness is toned down to 2,100nits. For protection, it relies on an ultra-thin Nanocrystal glass and anti-impact films.
Being a foldable flagship, it’s no surprise that OPPO has opted for the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor to keep on par with its rivals. In Malaysia, the phone only comes in a single 16GB+512GB configuration.
Meanwhile, OPPO continues its thriving collaboration with Hasselblad in the camera department. The Find N5 shoots with a 50MP wide camera with OIS, flanked by a 50MP OIS telephoto and an 8MP ultra-wide. For selfies, you’ll find an 8MP front camera on both the inner and outer screen.
The OPPO Find N5 runs on a 5,600mAh silicon-carbon battery. It supports 80W wired charging thanks to SUPERVOOC technology, as well as 50W wireless AIRVOOC charging.
To provide all-round protection, the Find N5 is IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9-rated for water resistance.
In theme with the AI era, the Find N5 will come with a slew of readily-available AI features in its software. This includes AI Translate Assistant, Dual-screen Interpreter, AI Call Summary, and AI Eraser. Additionally, there’s also Google-powered AI features, such as Circle to Search and Google AI Assistant.
OPPO Find N5 price in Malaysia
In Malaysia, the OPPO Find N5 (16GB/512GB) is priced at RM7,999. It is available in two colours: Misty White and Cosmic Black. Pre-orders for the OPPO Find N5 are already open on OPPO’s official website, with exclusive RM400 cash rebates and freebies for early birds.
