OnePlus attempts comeback with OnePlus 11; price starts at RM3,299
OnePlus today attempts to reassert themselves as a flagship mobile brand with the reveal of the OnePlus 11. Introduced at a launch event on 14th February, OnePlus’ newest model is a continued collaboration with reputable camera manufacturer Hasselblad.
Once christened as a ‘flagship killer’, OnePlus has come under heat of late, with many fans expressing disappointment in their latest lineups.
Now with the introduction of the OnePlus 11, have they finally embarked on a redemption arc? We’ll leave it to you.
Here’s all you need to know about the OnePlus 11.
Keeping to flagship demands, the OnePlus 11 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The result is a 35% faster CPU and 25% quicker rendering. Additionally, you will have up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM that’s up to 33% faster and 20% more efficient than the LPDDR5.
To supplement the ‘Shape of Power’ slogan further, you will get a UFS4.0 storage on the 256GB variant. The 128GB variant will utilize a UFS3.1 storage.
The OnePlus 11 will use the OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13.
OnePlus continues to ride on their partnership with Hasselblad. The OnePlus 11 will feature a triple camera setup on its VERY conspicuous camera housing.
The cream of the crop is the 50MP (f/1.88) main camera with IMX890 sensor, supported by Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It is flanked by a pretty decent 48MP Ultra Wide Camera with a standard 115° Field-of-View, and a 32MP Portrait Tele camera with 2x optical zoom.
You’ll also get the benefit of the Hasselblad Portrait Mode which simulates effects captured on an actual Hasselblad camera. This means natural looking bokeh, accurate colour rendering, and night photography performance.
The OnePlus 11 will give you decent battery life with 5,000mAh. You can expect to go 2 days without charging if used lightly. When you eventually do charge, you wouldn’t need to wait too long thanks to the 100W SUPERVOOC Charging. In just under 30 minutes, you’ll be fully charged and ready to go.
You’ll be fully immersed in the 6.7-inch 33216×1440 QHD+ display. With 2K Super Fluid AMOLED with Dolby Vision and a 120Hz refresh rate, the OnePlus 11 competes with other flagship mobiles out there.
