OnePlus 15 to Feature Triple 50MP Rear Camera with 3.5x Optical Zoom Telephoto Lens

Over the past few weeks, OnePlus has been gradually releasing teasers for its upcoming OnePlus 15 flagship. By piecing them together, we now have a fairly good idea of what to expect in terms of design, chipset, and battery capacity. Now, just days away from its official unveiling in China on October 27, we have confirmation of its camera systems.
Taking to his official Weibo account, Li Jie, the President of OnePlus China, confirmed that the OnePlus 15 will feature a triple 50MP rear camera setup.

One component of the array will include a periscope telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom, which is equivalent to an 85mm focal length. Additionally, the main camera will support 4K video recording at 120fps. To recap, its predecessor, the OnePlus 13, was limited to 4K recording at 60fps.

In addition to this recent teaser, OnePlus has confirmed several other details about the upcoming flagship. So far, it’s confirmed that the OnePlus 15 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. This SoC is Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, set to power most top-tier Android phones in 2026.
Additionally, the phone will feature a 7,300mAh battery and support a 165Hz refresh rate.
