nubia Focus 2 5G now available for pre-orders in Malaysia; Retails at RM999
nubia’s latest affordable device, the nubia Focus 2 5G, has made its way to Malaysia. Retailing at RM999, the phone runs on a Unisoc T8100 processor and is available in a single 8GB/256GB configuration.
For visuals, it sports a 6.7″ display offering HD+ (1600×720) resolution and 1,000nits peak brightness. Even at a relatively budget price point, the phone supports 120Hz refresh rate. Housed in the gargantuan camera module are two lenses: a 108MP main lens and a supplementary 2MP depth sensor. Elsewhere at the front is a 16MP front camera.
To keep up with the AI fad, the Focus 2 5G integrates AI-powered tools such as face-to-face translation, simultaneous interpretation, and magic editor for photos.
Meanwhile, a 5,000mAh battery keeps the phone running, with support for 22.5W wired charging.
The nubia Focus 2 5G is available in Aurora White, Cerulean Blue, and Obsidian Black. Pre-orders have already begun in Malaysia and will run from 17 to 26 March 2025. During this period, early buyers will enjoy a RM100 early bird voucher that will bring the price down to RM899. Additionally, orders will include a free Black Shark GT3 Neo smartwatch worth RM149.
