Nothing’s Bold New Headphone (1) Priced at RM1,099; Pre-orders Begin 12 July
Alongside the Phone (3), Nothing has also unveiled the Headphone (1) in Malaysia. This is the brand’s first-ever take on over-ear headphones, developed in collaboration with British audio brand KEF.
The Headphone (1) is available in Black and White, and will retail at RM1,099 in Malaysia. Pre-orders begin on 12 July at nothing.tech and will come with a free Nothing headphone protective cover. Open sales begin on the same day as the Phone (3), with the slated date being 1 August.
Interested buyers can purchase the Headphone (1) online via Nothing’s official platforms, or off the shelves at selected retailers including DirectD, TMT, Urban Republic, and Vivid Concepts.
Nothing Headphone (1) specs
As revealed at the global launch just over a week ago, the Headphone (1) sports a unique squarish design with rounded edges. The earpiece itself features the transparent aesthetic that Nothing has become known for.
There’s also a fresh take on the controls, with Nothing opting for volume rollers instead of conventional buttons. The rollers allow for continuous volume control, and also triple as a play/pause button and an ANC button. Next to the rollers is a paddle that clicks back and forth to skip or replay tracks.
In terms of audio quality, the Headphone (1) features 40mm dynamic drivers with sound tuned by KEF. Users can enjoy up to 80 hours of playback with ANC off, and 35 hours with ANC on. Nothing says the Headphone (1) offers up to 42dB of ANC. Additionally, it supports Spatial Audio for an immersive sound experience and Clear Voice technology for improved call clarity.
