Nothing unwraps Phone (3a) Series design ahead of launch

Nothing Phone (3a) Series’ design has been a hot topic among leaksters in recent weeks. Some renders were far off, while others came close. Nevertheless, Nothing has just unwrapped the upcoming Phone (3a) Series in a 10-minute YouTube video. In fact, they didn’t just reveal the design, but also detailed the thought process behind the new inspired layout.

Yes, the Phone (3a) Series will sport a new camera layout that no longer includes the curious pair of ‘eyes’ that were present on the Phone (2a), mainly because the Phone (3a) Pro is now fitted with a triple camera array. Nothing has been open about the cameras here, confirming that the Pro model will come with a 50MP OIS periscope lens backed by a Sony sensor. According to Nothing, it supports 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom, and 60x ultra zoom.
This is flanked by a 50MP main OIS camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide that also utilizes a Sony sensor.

The lenses are all encased in a centralized circular camera module with visibly thick rims which Nothing says are made of aluminium. On that note, the Phone (3a) Series will maintain the simplistic three-strip Glyph Interface encircling the camera module, but Nothing promises more functionality with the new iteration.

An intriguing takeaway is the additional button placed below the power button. We don’t know exactly what the button is for, only that it will come in a polished finish.
Apart from that, Nothing has not revealed anything else – so no confirmation of processors, display specs, or batteries just yet. We would not have to wait long, though, as the official reveal is set to happen soon on 4 March.
