Nothing Confirms Over-Ear Headphones Are In The Works

London-based consumer electronics brand Nothing has confirmed that it is in the midst of creating an over-ear headphone. Over the weekend, the company released a video on YouTube titled “We’re Making Over-Ear Headphones,” which more than speaks for itself.

The video features a sit-down discussion with two members of Nothing’s design team, who spoke in detail about their approach to creating the over-ear headphones. Notably, the AirPods Max was brought up a couple of times, with the designers claiming that their offering will provide a better experience at a friendlier price range.

In fact, they even make a bold claim by stating that these upcoming Nothing headphones “might be some of the best sounding on the market – certainly in their price range, if not punching above their weight.”

As for when the headphones will hit the market, the video ended with the words “Coming Summer 2025.”

It’s worth noting that Nothing recently announced a partnership with British audio brand KEF to “usher in the company’s next chapter in sound.” Whether or not the newly-teased headphones are a product of said collaboration is still unknown.
