Nothing Brings Signature Style to Entry-Level Market with Phone (3a) Lite
Nothing has launched the Phone (3a) Lite in Malaysia, aiming to offer its unique design and software experience at a more accessible price. Continuing its signature transparent aesthetic, the phone features a glass finish available in black or white and includes IP54 dust and water resistance.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor built on a 4 nm process, with an 8-core CPU clocked up to 2.5 GHz. It comes with 8 GB RAM and allows for up to 8 GB additional virtual RAM. Storage is fixed at 256 GB but can be expanded up to 2 TB using a microSD card.
Its 6.77-inch flexible AMOLED display delivers a Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2392), a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate, and peak brightness up to 3000 nits for HDR content. The screen supports 10-bit color and uses 2160 Hz PWM dimming to reduce flicker.
For photography, the rear setup includes a 50 MP main sensor paired with Nothing’s TrueLens Engine 4.0 software, capable of 4K video recording at 30 FPS and slow-motion at 1080p/120 FPS. The front camera is a 16 MP shooter, mainly for selfies and video calls.
Battery life is supported by a 5000 mAh unit, with 33W fast wired charging and 5W reverse wired charging. The phone runs on Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15, and is promised three years of Android updates and six years of security patches. Nothing OS 4.0 will be available in early 2026.
Notable software features include Essential Key and Essential Search for quick access to files, and the updated Glyph Light system for personalised notifications using rear LEDs.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite will retail at RM 1,199 for the 8+256GB variant. Pre-orders begin 22 November 2025 on Nothing.tech, Lazada, Shopee, and the Nothing Malaysia TikTok Shop, with open sales starting on 29 November 2025. Buyers will receive complimentary gifts and extended warranty during the pre-order period.
The device will also be available through selected retailers including DirectD, TMT, Urban Republic, Vivid Concepts, TAC Mobile, SS Solution, and Nothing Image Store. It will be offered via operators such as U Mobile and Yes5G.
