Newly Launched vivo X200 FE Is Your Latest Compact Alternative in Malaysia
vivo has officially introduced the X200 FE, the third and most affordable model in the X200 Series, following last year’s X200 and X200 Pro. While positioned as the budget-friendly entry in the lineup, the X200 FE still shares some of the premium hardware found in its flagship siblings.
However, unlike its X200 and X200 Pro cousins, the X200 FE is relatively compact with just a 6.31″ AMOLED display. It will compete against the likes of the Xiaomi 15 (6.36″), iPhone 16 (6.1″), and Galaxy S25 (6.2″) in the palm-sized smartphone category. The vivo X200 FE also offers 1.5K resolution (1216×2640), 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,800nits peak brightness.
Camera-wise, the X200 FE is fitted with a triple-lens rear setup. It includes a 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50MP telephoto lens using the same Sony IMX882 sensor found in the standard X200 (offering 3x optical zoom), and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Elsewhere at the front is a 50MP selfie camera.
Battery capacity is significantly larger than both the X200 and X200 Pro, at 6,500mAh. In comparison, the X200 and X200 Pro both pack a 5,800mAh and 6,000mAh battery respectively. The device also carries IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
The vivo X200 FE is available in four colour options: Yellow Glow, Black Luxe, Blue Breeze, and Pink Vibe.
vivo X200 FE price in Malaysia
The vivo X200 FE is priced at RM3,199 in Malaysia and will be available in a single 12GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration. Customers who pre-order the device will receive an RM200 rebate, bringing the price down to RM2,999.
The phone can be purchased through vivo Concept Stores, authorised retailers, and online via vivo Malaysia’s E-Store, as well as its official stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
From now until 4 July, pre-orders made at vivo Concept Stores will also come with a free gift bundle, including a Pickleball Paddle Set (worth RM529), vivo TWS 3e earbuds (worth RM199), a 1+1 year extended warranty, and a 1-year screen crack protection warranty.
