New Haier X Series Washing Machines Bring AI Wash and Fast Cycles from RM2,249
Haier Malaysia has launched the X Series washing machines, a new line-up comprising the X5, X7, and flagship X9 models. These machines are developed with a focus on efficiency, hygiene and user-friendly technology. The new range is designed for modern Malaysian homes, featuring enhanced fabric care and energy-saving capabilities.
A key highlight is the AI Wash feature, which automatically detects the type of fabric and water absorption levels to adjust the wash cycle accordingly. This function aims to optimise performance while reducing wear on clothing. Also included is Haier’s proprietary Essence Wash technology, which uses a premix and microbubble system to dissolve detergent more effectively. This system allows for a full cleaning cycle to complete in just 39 minutes, approximately 37% faster than standard cycles.
After washing, the Ultra Fresh Air function steps in to automatically dry the drum interior, helping to prevent musty smells and reduce wrinkles in clothes. This adds a layer of convenience for users who prefer not to manually manage post-wash settings.
In terms of design, the X Series features a minimalist full-touch interface known as Color AI. The newly introduced LCD panel uses a colour film design to offer a more responsive and visually streamlined interaction with wash settings, removing the need for traditional button clusters.
The X Series builds on Haier’s previous washer releases, such as the L+ Washer Dryer launched earlier in 2025, by introducing more automation and user-centric features. It is part of Haier’s continued push towards high-end home appliances that are both functional and eco-conscious.
