New Ford Ranger Raptor Sport Launches in Malaysia to Mark Third Anniversary
Ford has introduced a new variant to its performance pickup line-up in Malaysia with the launch of the Ford Ranger Raptor Sport, commemorating the third anniversary of the Next-Gen Ranger Raptor in the country. Priced at RM273,888 (Peninsular Malaysia, on-the-road without insurance), this special-edition model offers a distinctive combination of power, styling, and off-road functionality.
Under the hood, the Ranger Raptor Sport is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 petrol engine, capable of producing up to 397 PS at 5,650 rpm and 583 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. This engine is tuned by Ford Performance and is complemented by FOX 2.5-inch Live Valve Internal Bypass shock absorbers with race-derived Bottom-Out Control, designed to provide better control over rough terrain and smoother rides on-road.
This variant also features beadlock-style wheels, designed to accommodate true beadlock rings that allow for lower tyre pressures during off-roading. For daily use, the wheels are fitted with “beauty rings” for aesthetic appeal. The Ranger Raptor Sport comes with new special edition graphics, including a Raptor decal and a Sport Hoop, further enhancing its sporty character.
Compared to earlier Ranger Raptor models, this edition continues the tradition of performance with slight aesthetic and functional upgrades. It maintains the core Ford Performance DNA while offering exclusivity for off-road enthusiasts looking for both style and substance.
The Ford Ranger Raptor Sport is available in limited units starting 15 November 2025, in Arctic White and Meteor Grey. Pricing is set at RM273,888 in Peninsular Malaysia and RM277,388 in Sabah and Sarawak. Customers will receive a 5-year warranty, a free 2-year service package and a complimentary “Live The Ranger Life” cooler bag upon delivery.
