NASA+ Is Launching on Netflix — Watch Rocket Launches and Spacewalks for Free

By PriceShop News July 1, 2025

NASA has announced that its streaming service, NASA+, will soon be available on Netflix. While there is no specific launch date, the agency confirmed that the content will be available sometime this summer — a timeframe that typically spans from now through September in the U.S.

Launched in 2023, NASA+ was originally only accessible through the official NASA website and mobile app. The service has always been free of charge, offering viewers around-the-clock access to space-related content including live rocket launches, astronaut spacewalks, and real-time views of Earth from the International Space Station (ISS).

The move to Netflix, which has a global audience of more than 700 million users, is aimed at expanding NASA’s reach beyond its existing platforms. By tapping into one of the world’s largest streaming services, NASA hopes to inspire a broader and more diverse audience with its real-time space programming — all at no additional cost to Netflix subscribers.

Despite the new collaboration, NASA+ will continue to be freely accessible through the NASA app and its official website for users who prefer those platforms.
