Motorola Makes a Comeback With Two Brand New Smartphones in Malaysia

Motorola is a well-known name in the phone industry in Malaysia, though not as prominent as back then. So, it’s fascinating to see Motorola Malaysia still interested in launching two new Motorola smartphones.

If you didn’t know, Motorola Malaysia already introduced the Razr 5G foldable phone into the market in February 2021.

Fast forward to early November of last year, Motorola Malaysia reemerges with the launch of two new smartphones. The first phone is the flagship Edge 20 Pro, while the second is the entry-level Moto e40.

Motorola Edge 20 Pro

The Motorola Edge 20 Pro comes in three beautiful matte finishes, Midnight Blue, Blue Vegan Leather and Iridescent Cloud. It also boasts a slim profile that looks premium and fits comfortably in your pocket. 

Moreover, the 5G phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 and a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 144Hz OLED display. It is also water-resistant both inside and out, so you won’t have to worry about spills or splashes.

Motorola Edge 20 Pro Key Highlights

With business-grade ThinkShield protection and a near-stock Android 11, the Edge 20 Pro has a lot to offer. Some of its key highlights are as follow.

• Motorola‘s most powerful camera yet: Capture high-resolution pictures with its 108MP primary camera, a 16MP ultra-wide camera and an 8MP periscope-style telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. The phone also has a 32MP punch-hole front camera with Quad Pixel technology.

Motorola Moto E40

The other release by Motorola Malaysia, the Moto E40, is an entry-level phone. It comes in two colours, Carbon Grey and Pink Clay. 

The phone features a 6.53-inch HD+ 90Hz IPS display, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. You can also increase the storage with a microSD card up to 1TB.

Furthermore, the Moto E40 comes equipped with a Unisoc T700 octa-core processor and near-stock Android 11. This means you can play games and watch videos on the phone with improved graphics processing speed!

Motorola Moto E40 Key Highlights

Moto E40’s 48MP triple camera system allows you to shoot better, brighter photographs in any light. Its CPU and near-stock Android 11 also offers a decent gaming experience. Here are other key highlights of the phone.
