Maybank to discontinue classic Maybank2u site for individual customers starting 9 June

Maybank has announced that its Classic Maybank2u site will officially be discontinued for individual customers starting 9 June 2025. From that date onwards, all of the bank’s online banking services must be accessed via the current Maybank2u website.
The switch from the Classic Maybank2u site to the current site will not pose any disruption to users. If you’ve been accessing Maybank2u via your internet browser, it’s highly likely that it has already led you to the current Maybank2u site anyway.

On that note, Maybank assures customers that they can still log in with their existing username and password. Moreover, any scheduled or recurring payments and transfers that have been set up will continue as usual.
For reference, here is the difference in layout between the Classic and current Maybank2u sites.

On that note, Maybank has informed customers that the following services on the Classic Maybank2u site will be discontinued:
- Third-Party Account Transfer service – 12 May 2025
- Interbank Fund Transfer service – 19 May 2025
According to the bank, the updated Maybank2u site offers more features, along with a simplified design and enhanced security to safeguard your banking experience.
Please note that the switch will only affect individual customers. Maybank2u Biz customers can still transact via the Classic Maybank2u site.
