Malaysians to Receive Second Round of RM100 SARA Aid in February 2026

Malaysians aged 18 and above will receive another round of RM100 aid under the Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) initiative in February 2026, said Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim during the tabling of Budget 2026. This is an extension of the RM100 SARA aid that was given out recently in August this year.

The aid will benefit 22 million Malaysians ahead of the Chinese New Year celebrations, as well as those preparing for the holy month of Ramadan.

According to Anwar, the government will allocate RM15 billion to the Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) and Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) programs in 2026.

Additionally, Malaysians will enjoy a 50% discount on tolls for two days in conjunction with the Deepavali celebrations.
