macOS Users: Logitech Options+ / G HUB not Working? Here’s the Fix (Don’t Uninstall) – Jan 2026 fix

If your Logitech Options+ or Logitech G HUB suddenly refuses to open on MacOS in January 2026, you’re not alone.
Logitech says the issue was caused by an expired certificate required for the apps to run. Unfortunately, the same certificate also affects the in-app updater, so the fix won’t install automatically — you’ll need to manually install a new “patch” installer.
The good news: Your settings, device profiles, and customizations won’t be lost — as long as you don’t uninstall the app.
✅ What to do (important: do NOT uninstall)
For Logi Options+
- Download the updated patch installer (ZIP) from Logitech’s support page
- Unzip the file and double-click the installer file
- The installer will close automatically and Options+ will launch
- Your devices + settings should be restored
For Logitech G HUB
- Download the updated patch installer (ZIP) from Logitech’s support page
- Double-click the installer
- When you see the message “software already exists”, exit the installer
- Launch G HUB — your settings should be restored
