Is the Slim Smartphone Trend Even Worth Anything?

One of the biggest trends in smartphones in 2025 is making it very thin again. Sure, most smartphones these days aren’t even thick to begin with but the industry is going for something even thinner, at about the 5mm mark. This design doesn’t come without sacrifices however as battery capacity will be smaller and some manufacturers omitting certain features like lesser camera modules.
