iQOO 12 in new Flame colour complete with leather finishing now available
In conjunction with the upcoming Lunar New Year celebrations, iQOO has released a special edition red Flame colour for its latest flagship gaming phone, the iQOO 12. Aside from sporting a new Red hue, the back panels are now also decked with leather finishing.
All three iQOO 12 colours currently in the market have different back panel finishing, with the other two being the Legend (white) variant with enamel glass, and the Alpha (black) with Fluorite AG glass.
The iQOO 12 launched late in 2023, and was the first smartphone in Malaysia to bring in the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This is paired with a supplementary Q1 chip to further optimize performance. There’s only one memory variant available in Malaysia, with it coming with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
The device sports a 6.78″ AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution. Refresh rates maxes at 144Hz, with peak brightness reaching 3,000nits. It has 100% DCI-P3 colour accuracy, and will support HDR10+ content.
The iQOO 12’s camera module is a squarish-circular bump, with what iQOO calls the Porthole Design. It shields the triple main camera, consisting of a 50MP 1/1.3″ camera with OIS, a 64MP Periscope Telescope camera with 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.
Powering the iQOO 12 is a 5,000mAh battery, with speedy 120W wired FlashCharge to go with.
The iQOO 12 along with the new colour variant is now available in Malaysia at RM3,399. Interested purchasers can put down orders on vivo’s official E-store, or on iQOO’s official store on Shopee and Lazada.
